Christmas is just around the corner. I'm sure people are now busy making a list of anything and everything. And so what if I'm joining the bandwagon? I just want to make myself clear. Just like what I reported several weeks ago in my Language Communication class, all of us would be satisfied if we receive what we really want to have. But of course, it is the nature of people to complicate things. We send hints to our partners. instead of telling what we really want. We prefer to be indirect with our messages even if being direct would prevent us from having little or big misunderstandings.
Hmm, before I turn this entry into a repeat performance of the presentation I did, I am presenting the (material) things I would be happy to receive in this season of giving. Thank you in advance dun sa mga maantig ang puso.
All I want for Christmas1) An extension from Monbusho so that I can finish my MA degree. We can't do anything about this. Pakisama na lang po sa prayers niyo.
2) Plane ticket to the Philippines. Osaka-Manila-Osaka. Not necessarily for this Christmas because the prices are unbelievably expensive. I'd opt for a February flight to celebrate my 26th year of being a diyosa with other gods and goddesses in my beloved home and leave after March 11th so that I'll still be there to witness our bunso turn 18.
3) New rubber shoes. Preferably Nike or Converse. Wala pa akong Chuck. Shade of brown.
4) Backpack that fits an A4 file case. So that it will be comfortable to walk from my place to school which is 30mins away. Mahirap yung naka-bodybag tapos may folder pa.
5) Complete set of Calvin and Hobbes books. I think there are 15 titles in all and I only have 4, maybe.
6) A new template designed especially for moi. Colored brown, olive green, dark orange. Parang sunset sa autumn. I like autumn (better than spring (I think)). Plus, the colors are somewhat soothing. I don't have any sense nga lang if it will look good if these three colors are combined.
7) CDs of APO, Gary Valenciano, VST&Co., Hotdogs, Boyfriends. Kahit tig-iisa album lang.
8) Christmas cards. Waaah! Parang ang lungkot naman nito. But since the Japanese do not celebrate Christmas like the Filipinos, its really extra sad. Last year, during the Christmas mass, the Filipinos were crying. I cried during communion.
9)
A ring. Hmmm. Malabo pa siguro ito... Magbayad yung mga may utang sa akin. Para makabayad din ako ng utang. Nyek!
10) Ham. Since I know its inevitable to be lonely this Christmas, I would rather feel sad on a full stomach.
Make your lists too. Who knows, Santa Claus might visit your blogs. We can never can tell. Can you not? =)
